About William Bologna
Currently Chief Executive Officer, Bologna Pharma Development Laboratories LLC, a global company devoted to the development of patented new drug delivery systems and unique methods of treating health problems of women.
From December 1986 through May 2003, Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Scientific officer of Columbia Laboratories Inc. (IPO 1989). During that period more than 50 patents were granted worldwide and regulatory approval was awarded to sell Columbia products, through marketing partners, in more than 55 countries.
Global patents were granted for new drug delivery systems, unique pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treating disorders such as endometriosis, infertility, premature labor, dysmenorrhea, cardiac ischemia, vaginal infections and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
Founded Bologna International in 1980 a medical marketing and advertising company which provided marketing services to multinational pharmaceutical companies. Previously held senior management positions in multinational medical advertising and publishing companies.
