Obama Motors (OM), formally known as General Motors (GM) has reiterated its commitment to deliver the green Chevrolet Volt, plug-in electric car to showrooms in November 2010 as planned. This despite the fact that President Obama's own task force concluded that the Volt would be too expensive to be commercially viable. Industry analysts estimate the cost of the Volt will be around $40,000.
